Lennon to hold talks with David James

Neil Lennon is looking at David James as a possible replacement for Artur Boruc and hopes he can convince James to sign. Lennon has Pole Lukasz Zaluska and American Dominic Cervi but wants a major figure to compensate for the loss of Boruc, who has left for Fiorentina.

I realy cannot believe that he is actually considering signing him, unless it is as a back up keeper to Zaluska, James is hardly going to get the fans Dancing with delight

I think he is a fairly decent keeper and definately cannot be blamed for England's poor showing at this summer world cup. Incidentally Sunderland are also being linked with James.

No arguments their, superhoop, but at 39 i think he should only be a back up player for Celtic, Zaluskas is the Polish No1, and would benefit from the pressure of James pushing him from the bench for the No1 spot, but i do not want a 39 year old has been at Celtic, even as a back up keeper.
