Jones to Hawthorns
Dave Jones has been made favourite to take over the vacant manager's position at West Bromwich Albion.
The Bluebirds boss has been heavily linked with the post since the recent departure of Bryan Robson, and bookmaker's have been quick to slash the Scouser's odds to 7/4 as big money continues to be splashed out on the 50-year-old making a return to the Midlands.
Baggies fans are split on whether they'd like to see Jones take over at the Hawthorns. Many admire his achievements with City so far this season and feel his experience could drive West Brom back into the Premiership. However, numerous fans feel bitter towards Jones' time with arch-rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers and would rather see the likes of Tony Mowbray, Steve Cotterill or Steve Tilson considered for the job.
Cardiff will not want to lose DJ, particularly to a fellow Championship club, but could Hammam and Ridsdale stand in the City boss' way if he receives a big-money contract offer from West Brom?
