McGreal out til Xmas
Burnley defender John McGreal could be out until December after a scan revealed he tore his medial knee ligament against Southend last week
The 34-year-old twisted his knee on the stroke of half-time in the 0-0 draw and the severity of the injury was confirmed at the weekend. "John has torn his knee ligament and it is in a brace at the moment," manager Steve Cotterill told the club website.
