Surely if a club spends more than they bring in its their own fault isn't it? I'm fed up with my team at the moment, drab boring football, BUT we don't spend what we haven't got, and probably are one of the most financially secure teams in league 1. I'd rather have a football club to go and watch than one who gambles everything on getting to the promised land of the Premierdullship
That said, it would appear a few clubs are still struggling to come to terms with the collapse of ITV digital a few years ago, and fortunatly that didn't affect us

And that's the big fear I think. "Plastic" Dons have set a prescedent. It could open the door for yet another bright spark to move a football franchise to another part of the country ...

this is the big problem in football now, we are in the same position, so cant help them out, but its all down to the prem teams IMO. it all went wrong when teams kept there home gate money.
a way to help us small teams is for the big teams to play friendlys against us instead of going abroad to play them. liverpool play wrexham and they get a gate of 10,000 for a friendly.

Bournemouth's immediate future appears to have been secured after administrator Gerald Krasner revealed he has received two written offers for the club.
An administrators' sale will now take place after attempts to get a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) failed at a meeting with creditors and shareholders this morning. The two bidders will now hold talks with Krasner and will be given until tomorrow afternoon to alter their bids. The former Leeds chairman hopes to announce the successful bidder by Wednesday and he confirmed the cash-strapped Cherries should avoid liquidation if one of the bids is accepted. Deposits of £100,000 have been provided by both consortiums to keep the club running until the end of the season with the unsuccessful bidder refunded their deposit. Krasner told the club's official website: "Within 20 hours of this meeting I hope to have sold the club."
