Exeter v Torquay (Thu) Play offs

Exeter v Torquay (Thu)
Exeter manager Paul Tisdale has no new injury or suspension worries ahead of his side's play-off first leg.

Steve Basham could return to the squad following a niggling calf injury, but Tisdale will wait until the last minute before deciding on Basham's inclusion.

Torquay, already boosted by the return of Chris Zebroski and Danny Stevens, could have Steve Adams back in their starting line-up after a thigh problem.

Lee Mansell (groin) and striker Roscoe D'Sane (shoulder) are set to miss out.

I think I will support Torquay just due to similarity on the name.

Exeter 1-2 Torquay

Zebroski's last-gasp goal could prove crucial for Torquay

Chris Zebroski's last-minute strike gave Torquay a one-goal advantage over Exeter in the first leg of their Blue Square Premier play-off semi-final.

After Exeter dominated the first half, Torquay went ahead when Lee Phillips' cross was headed home by Tim Sills.

The Grecians' Wayne Carlisle then had an effort ruled out for offside, before he fired a half-volley in to equalise.

But when City keeper Paul Jones blasted a clearance straight at Zebroski, the striker kept his cool to fire home.

The second leg will take place at Plainmoor on Monday, kicking off at 1945 BST.
