Stanley swoop for Murdock

Accrington Stanley have officially secured the services of free agent defender Colin Murdock.
The 32-year-old centre-half was available on a free transfer following his release by Shrewsbury Town at the end of last season.

The former Manchester United trainee has gone on to make over 350 career appearances for a variety of clubs including Preston North End, Crewe Alexandra and Rotherham United.

Murdock has agreed a one-year contract at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.
