In difficult conditions at The Fraser Eagle Stadium it was perhaps no surprise to find two out-of-form sides struggle to produce much of a spectacle.

There were very few chances in a tight first half but the deadlock was broken just two minutes after the break when Phil Edwards headed home Ian Craney's corner.

Dagenham could not force an equaliser even though Accrington were reduced to 10 men late on when Leam Richardson was shown a second yellow card for time wasting.

Dagenham have now failed to win in their last seven games and are just five points above the relegation zone.

I went to the game and from what i saw i wasnt impressed, bring on accrington last game of the season if they play like they did last night then we should batter them
