It's good to see that footballers are in touch with reality with Frank Lampard leading the way
. The Chelsea midfielder has rejected a 4 year deal worth £140,000 a week, he's wanting a 5 year deal at £150,000 a week. His reason is he wants financial stability for his family
. It must make a big difference to him that extra 10 grand. In the hard times that the working bloke is having right now wouldn't you think Lampard would ettle for whats on offer, his greed is partly financed by the average man going through the turnstiles. A 4 year deal for Lampard is a good deal, he won't be as effective in the latter stages of his career as he is now, he's a box to box midfielder and that will fade once he's into his 30's.
