Just when it all looked to be going good for The O's- Ling's long term target snubs Orient in the last hurdle.
Northampton striker Adebayo Akinfenwa decided to commit his future to Northampton despite being very closely linked to Orient. Ling was confident about getting the striker and all looked set, until the big striker denied Orient the perfect partnership up front.
