Millers in Boulding talks

Millers have spoken to Boulding about coming to Millmoor, but face competition from other clubs

The BBC web-site and Radio Sheffield report that the Millers have spoken with Michael Boulding about a close season move to Millmoor.

Boulding, 32, was top scorer for the Stags last season, though his goals were not enough to keep them from relegation from the Football League. He has been linked with a number of clubs over the past few weeks, with reports yesterday suggesting that he was mulling over a move to Scunthorpe United.

Quoted on the BBC web-site. Breckin said "We spoke to him and we expect a decision shortly. We face a lot of competition for that one though, when you score the number of goals he has and he has several irons in the fire".

Boulding, a promising tennis player in his youth, retired from the game a few years ago, before Alan Knill allowed him to join the Millers on a temporary basis to gain fitness and sharpness.

Breckin also told the BBC that the Millers were looking to sign another centre-forward in addition to Boulding

Would be good to get boulding, i wounder who that other striker is we are looking at? we need at least 2 now o'greedy has gone to oldham.
