Euro 2008 hopefuls Turkey warmed up for next month's tournament with a win over Slovakia.

Hakan Kadir Balta netted the only goal of the game after 63 minutes, driving the ball past Slovakia keeper Stefan Senecky from the edge of the box.

Turkey will also play friendlies against Uruguay, on May 25 in Bochum, and Finland, on May 29 in Duisburg.

They open their Euro 2008 campaign against Portugal on June 7 in Basel.
