Chelsea through to Champions League Final
A dramatic night saw Chelsea triumph 3-2 against Liverpool on the night and 4-3 on aggregate to seal their first Champions League Final appearance. Didier Drogba scored twice and Frank Lampard scored from a penalty with Liverpool replying through Torres and Babel. The game didn't really come to life until the first period of extra time with Drogba scoring his second goal and Ballack clipped in the box for the pen. Ryan Babel's 25 yarder caught Petr Cech out to make it 4-3 on aggregate but Chelsea saw the game out and just about edged a close fought encounter.
