i'll start with the liverpool pubs, might be useful for our dear pompeyfans

Arkles - 77 Anfield Rd, L4, Whitbread. Very popular on match days. Right next to the ground, you cant miss it. Real Ales: Cains & Boddingtons. Big screen Sat. TV.

Breckside (Formerly Flatiron) - 377 Walton Breck Rd, L4, Real Ale: Tetley Bitter. Very Busy.

Richmond Arms, 78 Breck Rd, L4, Walkers beers. (Big screen Sat. TV)

Grove, 145, Breckfield Rd. N., L5, No real ale. A good stop for away supporters. Comfortable 2 bar pub.

Oakfield, 49, Oakfield Rd, L4, Tetley beers, No real ale. Busy, reasonably comfy 2 bar pub.




How to reach?


Travelling from North
Travel on the M6 until Junction 28 then follow signs for Liverpool on the A58 and proceed into Walton Hall Avenue past Stanley Park and turn left into Anfield Road for Liverpool FC.

Travelling from South

Travel on the M6, then onto the M62 until the end of Motorway then turn right on the A5058 into Queens Drive. After approximately 3 miles turn left into Utting Avenue. After 1 mile turn right into Anfield Road for Liverpool FC.

Travelling from West

Use the Mersey Tunnel to get into Liverpool city centre and then follow signs for Preston A580 into Walton Hall Avenue, then on nearside of Stanley Park turn right into Anfield Road for Liverpool FC.

Travelling from East

Travel on the M6, then onto the M62 until the end of Motorway then turn right on the A5058 into Queens Drive. After approximately 3 miles turn left into Utting Avenue. After 1 mile turn right into Anfield Road for Liverpool FC.
