And to be perfectly honest I'd rather watch my son's team play on a sunday than Euro 2008. At least they're honest, try really hard, Don't get big headed or cocky and there's no money involved ....

I was in Germany for the World cup we stopped in hoffanbach for two weeks always going to Frankfurt also went to nurenburgh and cologne when England played there. Did not get tickets for any of the matche's but could have if i was RICH The tickets were going for about £200-300 so just stuck with the England fans what an experance. We might be going to Berlin if we can get tickets for the freindly with Germany on Nov19th.

Going by the last WC I'd have to say that as a spectacle it will probably be a damp squib. Germany 2006 was ruined by so many bad things, it was hard to find anything good to take out of it.

And now Platini is sticking his nose where it doesn't belong I'm seriously put off watching International Football currently TBH. So unless it's England playing I don't bother too much although I wish I'd seen some of the games in the ACN because it looked as though there were some decent games in that. Until FIFA and all the other Governing bodies do something about the play acting and downright underhanded behaviour by some countries then for me the WC & Euros will remain tainted.
