Scotland robbed??????????????

Scotland manager Alex McLeish was furious with Spanish referee Manuel Enrique Mejuto Gonzalez after the 2-1 defeat by Italy at Hampden.
Christian Panucci's stoppage-time winner came from a free-kick that he felt ought to have gone Scotland's way.

"The set-piece that led to their second goal was an unbelievable decision," said McLeish.

"Alan Hutton was in control of the ball and their guy battered him. How can that be a free-kick to Italy?"

Scotland were robbed last night, it was never a free-kick and brings bribery and corruption thoughts buzzing around football again.

But to be fair Scotland's goal was offside and Russia were denied a legit goal, don't get me wrong we have several players in the team and it would have helped us a lot to see them go through and gain experience.
As for the corrupt ref allegations i'm not convinced he was not,but then when ever any russian is involved i think there is an element of corruption somewhere down the line.

Italian football is in a really bad state. always has been, always will.
Always scandals, always corruption if it was in the 70ies with inter, the 80ies with juve, the 90ies with milan and the 00ies with juve, inter and milan....
and they all look so feminine, even elton john thinks it's too much!

These things happen in football. Sometimes things go your way but in scotlands case it didnt. Move on and get over it! (if it happend to England though I wouldnt feel same way!)
