Cheats to be sacked?
Torquay chairman Chris Roberts has warned his own players that if they cheat they will not play for the club again.
Roberts is determined to crack down on diving and players' feigning injury, and has insisted he will not stand for it from anyone at Plainmoor.
He has issued a 'three strikes and you are out' policy and hopes to see the idea catch on elsewhere.
"We have decided to make a stand against players who attempt to con referees by feigning injury, or pretend to be fouled to gain an unfair advantage," he explained.
"For a first offence, a disciplinary letter and caution will be issued.
"For a second offence, the player will receive a final warning and maximum club fine.
"If it happens again, the player will be either placed on the transfer list or dismissed for gross breach of conduct.
"Either way he will never play for Torquay again."
Torquay's players are reportedly furious that their professionalism has been called into question
